Easy Refried Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 tbls 
    Olive Oil
  • 1 cup 
    Onions
  • 4 clove 
    Garlic
  • 45 oz 
    Pinto Beans, canned
  • 28 oz 
    Canned Red Tomatos
  • 1 1/2 tsp 
    Cumin Seed
  • 1 tsp 
    Chili Powder
  • 1/4 tsp 
    Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp 
    Table Salt

Directions

1. In a large, high-sided skillet, saute onion in oil until soft.

2. Add garlic, beans, tomatoes, cumin, chili, pepper and salt. Stir.

3. Using a potato masher or large fork, break up the beans and tomatoes until only slightly lumpy. Heat through and serve.
