Simple Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients

  • 6 oz 
    Chocolate, semisweet
  • 1/2 tsp 
    Instant Coffee, powder
  • 1/3 cup 
    Water
  • 4 large 
    Egg
  • 3 tbls 
    Sweet Wine
  • 3 tbls 
    Sugar, granulated

Directions

1. Put the chocolate and instant coffee in a food processor and process for a few seconds until chocolate is finely chopped.

2. Pour the boiling water in through the top of the processor and continue processing for several more seconds, until the chocolate is completely melted.

3. Add the egg yolks and wine and process until well mixed.

4. In a medium sized bowl, beat the egg whites until foamy.

5. Gradually add the sugar and continue beating until stiff.

6. Fold the chocolate into the whites until no streaks of white remain.

7. Turn into serving dishes, and chill for several hours until firm.
