30 ozGreat Northern Beans, cooked

Directions
1. In a medium skillet, saute onions, gingerroot, and garlic in oil for about 8 minutes or until tender.2. Mix together all ingredients, except gingersnap crumbs, in 2 -quart casserole.
3. Cover and bake at 300 Fahrenheit for 2 hours. Sprinkle top of beans with gingersnap crumbs.
4. Bake, uncovered, until beans are thickened to desired consistency, about 30 minutes. Remove and discard bay leaves. Serve.
