Ingredients

    DOUGH:
  • 2 3/4 lb 
    Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, bleached
  • 3 3/4 cup 
    Shortening
  • 1 .20 cup 
    Water
  • 5 tsp 
    Table Salt
  •  
    FILLING:
  • 1 1/2 lb 
    Sliced Ham (11% fat)
  • 3 lb 
    Beef Blade Roast, raw
  • 16 med 
    Potato
  • 5 med 
    Carrots
  • 2 med 
    Onions
  • 1 med 
    Rutabegas
  • 1 tbls 
    Beef
  • 2 tbls 
    Butter

Directions

1. Mix all filling ingredients together, except for butter. Set aside.

2. Mix all the dough ingredients together and divide it into serving size portions. Roll out each small ball of dough, fill with the filling mixture, put a dot of butter on top the mixture, and then fold it up by rolling the edge and seal it by pressing down the rolled edge.

3. Bake at 190F for one hour.
